Reach for the stars

Welcome to Burman Nursery and Infant School

Our supportive Governors, experienced Staff, around 214 enthusiastic learners and I, are excited to welcome you to Burman Nursery and Infant School. We are a family and values led school, incorporate Building Learning Power within our teaching and hold our children at the heart of all we do.

At Burman we believe that learning is the most exciting journey in life and it is a privilege to support and guide our children on their way through their early and infant years, here. We pride ourselves on our nurturing and supportive ethos (which is often commented upon) and where safeguarding and wellbeing are paramount.

As the Headteacher of Burman Infant School, I am proud to say that we strive to make  our provision the best it can possibly be, in order to meet the needs of every individual and to offer quality learning experiences that are purposeful, progressive, enjoyable and memorable.

I hope that you find our website interesting and informative and that it provides an insight into our unique school. You are warmly welcomed to contact us for any further information that you may require.

Kind regards,
Miss E Saxty (Headteacher January 2021)
