- To provide a secure and caring environment in which children achieve their potential in all areas of the curriculum and in their personal development
- To provide a wide variety of experiences suited to the age and developmental needs of the children and in line with National Curriculum requirements and the National Literacy and Numeracy Strategies and Targets
- To assess children, record their progress and report to Parents in a direct jargon free way
- To encourage and develop parental interest and involvement in school life and work in partnership with them
- To encourage enquiry and enthusiasm and develop good learning habits which will last the children throughout their lives
